Let’s Re-elect a Proven Leader

Committed. Capable. Dedicated

I am seeking re-election to the Houston Community College Board of Trustees because I understand the transformative power of community college, both personally and professionally. My educational journey did not begin at a four-year university; it began at Houston Community College. That experience not only shaped my future but also solidified my steadfast commitment to serving the students and families of our community. As a mother of college students and graduates, I intimately understand the challenges families face when navigating the path to higher education. I have lived this reality as a student and as a parent, and I bring that dual perspective to every decision I make on the Board.
This position is not about a title, it is about purpose. I believe that access to higher education should not be a privilege for the few but a guarantee for all. Every student in our district deserves the opportunity to attend college and pursue a future filled with promises and possibilities. It is not simply an obligation, it is a moral responsibility to ensure that higher education remains accessible, affordable, and equitable.
I am committed to leading with empathy, integrity, and unshakable dedication to the people of District II. My focus remains clear: to expand access, strengthen partnerships, and champion innovative programs that prepare our students for success in an evolving workforce.

Equity

I will provide equity by expanding access, removing barriers, and delivering targeted support to ensure all students have opportunities to succeed.

Opportunity

Providing students the opportunity to succeed in community college empowers lives, fuels economic growth, and ensures a more equitable, educated future.

Growth

I will bring growth by expanding programs, strengthening partnerships, increasing enrollment, and investing in resources that uplift students and communities.
